VACANCY: Content Creator

As a Content Creator you’ll be bringing clients products to life through the use of photography and video. You’ll be talented with a camera, knowing how to get the best angle and lighting to showcase client’s products. You won’t just be taking pictures or videos though, you’ll be managing the post production of your shots, and editing to make sure all final versions are sharp with the goal of making the clients social media feeds look amazing! You’ll work closely with others, making sure all photo and video final versions ultimately align with client briefs.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Generating ideas to best display clients products through short form video and photography
  • Always keeping in mind clients brand, tone of voice, and overall brief objectives when thinking ofideas to shoot client products
  • Shooting client products, in various forms such as lifestyle, product shots, studio shots and video
  • Making sure the client product looks the best it can be in short form video and photography, andmaking sure the angle and lighting is on point
  • Coming up with photography and video ideas to make sure client social media feeds such as Instagram looks good, with the goal of increasing feed engagement
  • Being an expert and go-to-person in all things short form video and photography, knowing your stuffwhen it comes to cameras and best lighting options
  • Selecting the best photos that represent the client brief, fully editing the photos to make them eyecatching to clients, customers, and consumers
  • Using various post-production editing tools such as Photoshop and Lightroom to really bring clients products to life
  • Closely working with the rest of the production, social media, and client services teams to understand clients briefs and working together to come up with the best solution to the brief
  • Being able to work on multiple client briefs, juggling ideas and schedules for clients, shooting different types of products but not let the standard of output slip
  • We are one team at S3 so we often roll up our sleeves and pitch in other areas when needed

You’ll have:

  • A relevant degree in visual effects/creative photography/advertising design or similar
  • Expertise in all camera functions, whether it be photo, video, and lighting
  • An inspiring portfolio of product photography, either through modules at University, unpaid or paidwork
  • Full knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and post-production editing skills
  • Excellent attention to detail with photography and post-production edits
  • A sound understanding of social media feeds and what photos can make them stand out
  • A team player, willing to pitch in and help out others
  • Organised and works well under pressure, with the ability to juggle multiple client briefs
